Note III: We kick off two hours of Jets talk on this morning’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show brought to you by PlayNow with reflections on the Game 5 victory by the Jets and looking ahead to Game 6 against the Stars later this evening. Come be part of the discussion.
Note IV: There was another Game 5 on Thursday night that unfortunately fell through the cracks by moi with the focus on all things Jets. It involved two Jets prospects in Jacob Julien (2023 5th) and his Knights who defeated Colby Barlow (2023 1st) and his Generals 4 games to 1. It means back-to-back championships for Julien with London who will now head to the Memorial Cup. Both players also had very good playoffs from a production standpoint, especially Barlow who finished third in the OHL playoff points race.

Sportsnet: Promise of golden generation looming over Jets in push for Conference Final. Just forcing this to a Game 7 would be a monumental feat by the Jets who have dug themselves a hole. But if they can do it, boy is it gonna be insane in Manitoba on Monday.
