Note: The Jets knew they needed a good effort right from the start in Game 2 if they wanted to leave Winnipeg with a series split between themselves and the Stars. Sure enough that’s just what they did starting the game right on time and not taking their foot off the gas pedal for most of it. In addition to the good start they also scored a power play goal, had big time efforts from their top six forwards and a rockstar performance from the soon to be three-time Vezina winner. All of that equals a 4-0 win from the home side.
Note II: Less than 10 hours after the Jets and Stars concluded game 2 we bring you two hours of hockey talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show. And there is quite a lot to discuss so be sure you join us starting at 9 AM CDT. We will be joined by former radio broadcaster Rick Ralph of TSN 1290 Winnipeg fame and Josh Wegman of theScore.
