Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: Most of the Jets stayed off the ice on Thursday although both Josh Morrissey and Logan Stanley did skate. When we heard from head coach Scott Arniel later he indicated Morrissey had another good skate and is considered a game-time decision. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 11 AM CDT so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 8:30 PM CDT.

Note II: Come say hi this evening at the Special Edition Illegal Curve pre-game show live from Cityplace starting at 6:30 PM CDT. You can also join us after the final buzzer for the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show (be sure to smash that like/subscribe button) which will include post-game interviews from Jets players as well as from head coach Scott Arniel.

Note III: There was a battle of Jets prospects in the OHL Championship last night in London which saw Colby Barlow (2023 1st) and his General team taking Game 1 over Jacob Julien (2023 5th) and his previously undefeated Knights squad (now 12-1). Barlow finished the game with two assists which puts him 2nd overall in the OHL playoff points race. He’s on quite the playoff heater.
