Jets news:
Winnipeg Free Press: A possible playoff preview. (Paywall). This ain’t the Smythe Division of the early 90s. These aren’t those Jets and these ain’t those Canucks. This Vancouver team are a shell of the one that won 50 games last season.
Winnipeg Free Press: The kids are all right. (Paywall). Mike caught up with Luke Schenn in Vancouver to get his thoughts on new teammates Dylan Samberg and Cole Perfetti.

Daily Faceoff: Why Jets’ Scott Arniel deserves more love in the Jack Adams race. Suspect he gets disregarded as the Jets were the 4th overall team in the entire NHL finishing with 110 points. So he is seen as largely continuing what was started here previously. The big changes that are evident to those of us who watch this team on a daily basis aren’t likely understood by many outside this market.
Sportsnet: Round 1 matchups we want to see. I am going to have to respectfully disagree. Of all the matchups for the Jets I cannot think of one less interesting than the Canucks. Remember headline says “want to see”. For the Jets you’d have to go Avs, Wild, Stars and Golden Knights before any of the other teams in the West.
Global News: More statement games in the cards for Winnipeg Jets. It will be an interesting stretch drive no doubt about it.
The Athletic Winnipeg: Dylan Samberg’s emergence, top line’s return to form What I’m seeing from the Winnipeg Jets: Dylan Samberg’s emergence, top line’s return to form. (Paywall). Murat lets you know what he is seeing from this Jets team right now.
