Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: A pair of Jets were in action last night as goalie Connor Hellebuyck got the win for USA making 20 saves on 21 shots (.958 save%) as they defeated Finland 6-1. His fellow Michiganite Kyle Connor started the game playing on a line with Jack Eichel and Matthew Tkachuk. He finished the game with one assist playing on a line with JT Miller and Matt Boldy. The trio of Winnipeg players at the tournament are next in action tomorrow night when Josh Morrissey and Canada take on Connor Hellebuyck/Kyle Connor and USA in Montreal.

Note II: The Moose hit the ice for practice on Thursday as they prepared to wrap up their two-game set with the Stars this evening. They’ll be looking for another win which would give them three straight games with a victory as they attempt to get back into playoff contention. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.
