Note: While the Jets are off the ice one player who did play in a game last night was Josh Morrissey who saw his Team Canada squad defeat Team Sweden 4-3 in overtime. Number 44 was on the ice for 23 minutes and 17 seconds, blocked two shots while throwing one hit. Tonight Connor Hellebuyck and Kyle Connor along with their USA teammates will take on the Finns in Montreal. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.
Note II: The Moose kept things going as they took down the top ranked Stars 4-2 last night in Winnipeg. Veterans Dylan Coghlan (times two) and AJF (GWG) led the way scoring while goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis made 15 saves in the 3rd period (including Texas going on a 12-0 run the final 14 minutes of the period). Manitoba will practice today as they get ready for their Friday night re-match.
Note III: I didn’t get a chance to share this funny goal celebration from Jets prospect Brayden Yager (2023 1st) from Tuesday night after he had a goal disallowed and then scored again 32 seconds later.
