Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets left Montreal on Wednesday with two more points added to their standings bank and will be looking to add another two this evening in Boston against the Bruins. We did get some info yesterday as Parker Ford didn’t dress for Manitoba last night in Chicago and then some sleuthing revealed that Morgan Barron had been placed on IR. Given Ford had seven goals in the last nine games for the Moose I thought he had earned a recall. Morning skate gets underway at 10:30 AM CST so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Boston, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 8:40 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose were in Chicago last night where they kicked off the first of three games on the road without their top three scorers in Brad Lambert and Parker Ford (recalled) and Nikita Chibrikov (inj). The game did involve this massive tilt between Tyrel Bauer and Yanick Turcotte. It was 1-0 for the Wolves for most of the game before they added a second goal late. Manitoba cut lead in half when a Bauer shot was deflected by Ben King but that’s as close as they came. They’d lose 3-1 which was their fifth straight loss.
