Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were looking to end the eight-game homestand on a high note but were unable to run their win streak to four as they had to deal with the hot hand of Flames netminder Dustin Wolf who stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced powering his Calgary squad to a 3-1 win over Winnipeg. The NHL club of Manitoba will now head to Utah to kick off two games on the road. Today is a travel day.

Note II: The Moose practiced on Saturday as they look for a measure of revenge against the Marlies who defeated them 3-0 on Friday night which arrested their points streak at five games. They’ll look to rebound this afternoon which the puck drops at 2 PM CST.

Note III: Missed adding this to yesterday’s papers. On Friday night Kieron Walton (2024 6th rounder) picked up his 27th goal of the season for Sudbury while Brayden Yager (2023 1st) had two assists for Lethbridge. On Saturday night it was Colby Barlow (2023 1st) who had one goal and one assist for Oshawa.
