Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets win streak of four games was stopped in Colorado by the Avs on New Year’s Eve as they just ran out of gas in the 3rd after playing three games in four nights against a well rested opponent. The team took yesterday off as they prepare for eight straight games in Winnipeg starting tonight against the Ducks. Big question mark for the Jets is the status of Dylan DeMelo who blocked a fairly harmless looking Josh Manson shot but left the game with approximately four minutes left in the 3rd and did not return. Morning skate gets underway at 10:30 AM CST. Stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Anaheim, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 9:40 PM CST.

Note III:  The Moose were also off on Wednesday and today they will be in Calgary for a practice as they prepare for their five-game road trip which starts tomorrow night against the Wranglers. Big question mark for them is the status of Jets prospect Elias Salomonsson who has been out with an upper-body injury and I was told was expected to join the team for skate after IR skating by himself.
