Note: The Jets were looking to bounce back after two straight losses and that’s just what they did in a statement type game against the Panthers which saw them double up the defending Stanley Cup champions by a final score of 6-3. Mark Scheifele led the way with his team leading ninth hat trick of his career. Winnipeg will hit the ice for practice at 12 noon so stay tuned for a Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose are getting ready for their first school day game at home when they take on the Wolves tomorrow morning. Before that time they will hit the ice for a practice today at 10:30 AM CST as they get ready for Chicago. Be sure to check back for the Practice Report.

Global News: Scheifele’s hat trick propels Winnipeg Jets to 6-3 win over Panthers. While head coach Scott Arniel might be thankful he doesn’t have to face a very good Panthers team more than twice per regular season, it would appear that centre Mark Scheifele would be happy to go up against them.
