Note: The Jets went into south Florida looking to bounce back after a loss to the Bolts but instead they got bounced back to Manitoba courtesy of a 5-0 loss to Florida on Saturday night. With it Winnipeg have now lost two straight games for the first time this season although they remain an impressive 15-3-0. They are off today.
Note II: The Moose were also in action last night as they closed out their five-game road trip against the Wolves in Chicago. It was the Manitoba debut for Kappo Kahkonen who made 22 saves on 25 shots. The visitors got contributions from most of the lineup as they picked up a 5-3 win which gives them wins in two of their last three games. They are off today as well.
Note III: Jets 2023 1st rounder Colby Barlow loves the power play one-timer as he tied the game for Oshawa with this quick decision. Gives him six goals in his last eight games. Other prospects in action who got on the scoresheet included Jacob Julien (2023 5th) who had an assist for London while Connor Levis (2023 7th) also had an assist for Vancouver.
Note IV: Good luck to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers who will be playing in their fifth straight Grey Cup this evening in Vancouver when they take on the Toronto Argonauts. Kickoff is at 5 PM CST.
