Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets had Sunday off as they returned from their three-game road trip with three more wins which of course kept their perfect, undefeated season alive at 8-0-0. Today they welcome the Leafs to town for a single home game before they head back out on the road. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 9:30 AM CDT so be sure to check back for the pre-game report for any updates. Puck drop is at 6:30 PM CDT.

Note IV: The Moose were looking for the split on Sunday afternoon after losing their home opener to the IceHogs on Saturday. They kicked things off with rookie Dylan Anhorn‘s first goal as a pro which came shorthanded as he put it top corner. Jets prospect Brad Lambert picked up his first goal of the season on the power play which turned out to be the game-winner while goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis was excellent in his Winnipeg pro debut making 30 saves for his second win of the season. The contest ended 3-1 for Manitoba. They are off today.

Note V: Only a few Jets prospects in action on Sunday. Biggest performance of the night goes to 2023 1st rounder Colby Barlow who picked up two goals in an Oshawa win and after a slow start to his season now has five points in his last five games. Other guys in action included Connor Levis (2023 7th) who had the game-winning goal for the Vancouver while Kieron Walton (2024 6th) added an assist for Sudbury. While Jacob Julien (2023 5th) was held without a point in a win for London and is off to a slow season so far.
