Note: The Jets held an optional practice on Wednesday which was moderately attended. After skate we heard from Gabriel Vilardi (Watch here) and assistant coach Dean Chynoweth (Watch here) as they continue to prepare for their fourth game of the season. Today they are expected to have a special teams skate at hockey for all centre which gets underway at 11 AM CDT. Check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose held a final day of practice in Winnipeg yesterday as they continued to ramp up for their two-game set against the Griffins this weekend in Grand Rapids. Today is a travel day as they head to Michigan. They are back on the ice tomorrow for the game as they look to improve to 3-0-0 on the season.

Note III: If you’re going to the game tomorrow night between the Jets and Sharks you may be the 20 millionth guest to walk through the doors of the downtown arena and if your tickets is scanned you could win a bunch of prizes.

Note IV: One person you will likely not see in Winnipeg until next year is former Jets draft pick Rutger McGroarty who was sent to the AHL ahead of the game between Pittsburgh and Winnipeg on Sunday. A positive development from this is the focus on Sunday will be on Bryan Little who is signing a one-day contract to retire as a member of the NHL club of Winnipeg.

Global News: Jets perfect to start season, but have a long road ahead. While it’s good to bank points it’s also good not to get too far ahead of your skis as they say. Still not sure who they are but they are the ones who say it…
