Note: The Jets were off for Thanksgiving Monday but there was some news as Connor Hellebuyck was named 2nd Star of the Week after a series of impressive performances between the pipes. Today they are scheduled to practice at hockey for all centre at 11 AM CDT so stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose were also off yesterday after sweeping their opening weekend two-game set with the Wild in Iowa. They are back on the ice today at hockey for all centre set to practice at 10:30 AM CDT. Stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets’ Eric Comrie thankful for never being handed anything. Scott had an interesting chat with the affable backup netminder.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets already playing to their identity. They figured out a good regular season formula that worked for them last season to pick up 52 wins so there are some elements (sans special teams) that they are continuing to use this season.

Illegal Curve Hockey: 3 Thoughts as the Jets are off to their best start in franchise history. Connor wrote about: 1) Jets’ overtime success continues. 2) Special teams are off to a positive start. 3) 27/7/91 plays their best game so far.

National Post: Showing fans ‘what an NHL team brings with them’ in an Air Canada Jetz aircraft. Missed this from a few days ago as the team showed off what it takes to get a team from Winnipeg to their next NHL city.
