Note: After a day of special teams practice on Monday the Jets return to the ice for day 13 of training camp in Winnipeg. Will they make some more cuts or will they keep 34 players on the roster? You’ll have to wait and see. We’ll have things covered so keep it locked here and make sure you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel. They are scheduled to be on the ice at 10 AM and then a second group at 11:30 AM.
Note II: The AHL club of Manitoba got underway with the on-ice portion of their training camp yesterday as 27 skaters took to the ice trying to make an impression on the Moose coaching staff. They are back on the ice at 10 AM.

Sportsnet: Jets’ Salomonsson impressing at camp, in contention for opening-night spot. How much improvement have the Jets seen since last summer when then associate coach Scott Arniel didn’t want him sent back to Sweden? Quite a bit as Jacob writes in his latest piece.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets want more preseason work, but not too much, for penalty kill. With all the special teams work it will be interesting to see what it looks like against the Flames when they face a more NHL lineup.
