Daily Faceoff: Five NHL teams that got noticeably weaker in the 2024-25 offseason. While there haven’t been massive changes in Winnipeg this offseason it is enough for some folks to feel like this team will not be able to repeat their 110 point season that they accomplished in 2023-24.

TSN: Nikolaj Ehlers to play for Denmark in Olympic qualifying this month. No big surprise that the Dynamic Dane will dawn his country’s uniform to try to help them qualify for the Olympics. He is just 16 points back of Frans Nielsen who has the most points ever in the NHL for a Danish born player which is a number Ehlers should accomplish relatively early in the 2024-25 campaign.
