Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Max Namestnikov trying to follow in family’s footsteps. Gotta be fun for the young kid from Michigan to get a chance to play for the same organization as his older brother.
Winnipeg Free Press: Jets prospect Brown looking forward following freak injury. (Paywall). His Denver team was able to win the NCAA championship but sadly the Jets prospect was watching from the sidelines due to a season ending injury. Mike caught up with him at Development Camp.
NHL.com: Zhilkin looking to build on first pro season. He may be wearing yellow at the camp but he sure doesn’t look like a player that needs to be based on how he’s moving out there. But at the same time it makes sense not to risk any setbacks at Development Camp. Expecting a big season out of the 2022 3rd rounder.
