Note: As per Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald the Jets have made a staff addition from the NCAA adding Chase Granger as an Assistant Equipment Manager. He had previously been with the UND Fighting Hawks.

Note II: Mark Divver who writes for the New England Hockey Journal & and is a contributor to the NHL site, indicated on twitter that right-shot defenceman Frank Djurasevic, who switched from Merrimack to Maine for the 2024-25 college season will be attending Winnipeg Jets development camp later this month.

Jets news:

Global News: Who should Winnipeg Jets fans support in Stanley Cup Final? Paulie did leave out former Jets defenceman Mark Stuart who is now an assistant coach on the Edmonton side as well as Winnipegger/backup goalie Calvin Pickard. And have to mention Game Presentation/Producer Lindsay Gullet who used to work for the Jets but now works for the Oilers. Of course it’s well understood the antipathy from the Smythe Division days but perhaps those demons were exercised during the bubble year sweep by Winnipeg. In any event do you find yourself hoping for either Edmonton or Florida or are you indifferent since your team isn’t in the Final?

Illegal Curve Hockey: Former Jets captain Blake Wheeler evaluating his future following 2023-24 season. The 16th season of Blake Wheeler’s career was a tough one as the Minnesotan suffered a gruesome injury that limited him to 54 games. He was asked by Rangers media if he wants to play again next season to which he replied “I don’t know”.
