Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were off on Sunday as they enjoyed some down time after concluding their four-game road trip with an impressive 7-0 whopping of the Avalanche in Colorado which was their sixth straight win as they push to finish 2nd in the Central. Today they hit the ice for a practice at 11 AM CDT. Be sure to check back for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose concluded the home portion of their regular season schedule yesterday when they welcomed the Wild for a re-match after defeating them 7-4 on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday night they learned they had their ticket to the post-season punched although they still had something to play for as if they catch the Stars in 4th they could gain home ice advantage for their best-of-three ‘play and you’re in’ series. Manitoba spotted Iowa a four goal lead which they chipped away at in the 3rd period but were unable to pull off the comeback and they lost the game 4-3. They will practice today at 11 AM CDT  before they head out on the road for three games which ends in Texas and could determine who gets 4th place.
