Note: The Jets held a practice on Monday in Winnipeg and then boarded a plane for Nashville  where they will resume their road trip with a game against the Predators. Morning skate for the Jets gets underway at 11:30 AM CDT. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Nashville, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose have a second straight day off as they get some needed time away from the rink after a weekend sweep of the Wolves.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets Dillon credits past and present teammates for his scoring surge. The Jets still probably don’t have as much scoring as they’d like from the blueline but what the big BC product has done this year has been impressive and will earn the UFA to be a nice bump in salary starting next season.

Winnipeg Sun: Centre of attention: Jets need Scheifele to warm up, and soon. Paul catches up with the Jets top centre.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets eye second place, home-ice advantage in first round of playoffs. Nothing quite like a ‘Whiteout’ and with the run of the Jets combined with a bit of a falter from the Avs, it looks like folks could be seeing it as good as games one and two rather than in games three and four.

Winnipeg Free Press: Monahan’s commitment to excellence everything the Jets wanted and needed. (Paywall). As fits go the addition of the number two centre has been quite nice and the team is really seeing the benefit of bringing him in well in advance of the trade deadline.

Winnipeg Free Press: Home-ice advantage in Jets’ sights. (Paywall).  Good time for the Jets to win three in a row combined with the Avs losing two straight to make this a more interesting run to the end of the campaign. Colorado has played one more game than Winnipeg.

Global News: Making the case for a better Jets finish in Central Division race. With games this week against the other teams a top the division it should make for an interesting next few games for Winnipeg.
