Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets were off on Sunday after another disappointing loss, their sixth straight, as they fell 3-2 to the Senators late in the game. It will be interesting to see how they configure the lines and if they swap out some players for fresh guys (cough cough Dylan Samberg). Morning skate for the Jets gets underway at 10:30 AM CDT. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 8 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Los Angeles, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III: The Moose are next in British Columbia where they will take on the Canucks in Abbotsford on Tuesday and Wednesday. After they closed out their six-game homestand with a victory there also got some positive news on the out-of-town scoreboard with the two teams trailing them for the final playoff spot both losing.

Jets news:

The Athletic Winnipeg: Jets special teams, Rick Bowness and a fall from first place. (Paywall). There is no sugar coating the results and Murat does a great job, as he usually does, to outline the state of play with the NHL team of Manitoba.
