Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets took Wednesday off instead of practicing as they try to maximize rest during this stretch of 16 games in March. Morning skate for the Jets gets underway at 10:30 AM CDT as they welcome the Golden Knights to town. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Vegas, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game.

Note III:  The Moose faced off against the Marlies last night which saw them really control play for big stretches of the game but credit Toronto goalie Dennis Hildeby who kept his team in the game and gave them a chance to get to extra time despite being outshot 15-3 in the 3rd period. Tate Singleton, five games into his pro career, scored his first goal but was also obliterated in his first pro fight when he dropped the gloves with Tyrel Bauer. Ultimately former Moose forward Logan Shaw won it in OT for the visitors as the Marlies took it 2-1. They are scheduled to practice today at 11 AM CDT in preparation for the sixth and final game of this homestand which will be a re-match between these two teams Friday night.
