Note: The Jets faced off against the Oilers last night to kick off the first of five at home which saw them fight back in the 3rd period to tie the game but they lost 4-3 in OT. Today they were scheduled to practice but have cancelled.

Note II: With Gabriel Vilardi back on ice for the Jets, head coach Rick Bowness provided this update on his top line winger.

Note III:  The Moose will conclude their six-game homestand with a pair of games against the Marlies starting tonight. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets can’t get away with lousy periods, bad power plays at this time of year. There have been way too many games of late when we’ve said “you can’t play 20 minutes” or maybe even double that but failing to play a full 60 is happening way too frequently. Not exactly a recipe for success. Nor is a woeful special teams.
