Note: The Jets got back on the good side of the ledger on Monday night as they played a fairly consistent game along with their two newest Jets as they rolled to a 3-0 win over the Capitals to being the three-game homestand with a victory. They are off today.

Note II: The Moose were off yesterday. Today they are in Milwaukee as they prepare/practice for their game tomorrow against the Admirals.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Reversing the goose-egg: Jets rebound with blanking of Caps. After the lackluster effort we saw on Saturday it was important for them to rebound and that’s just what they did last night.

Winnipeg Sun: New Jets sniper Tyler Toffoli ‘feeling really comfortable’ in new surroundings.  Has to help when there are so many familiar faces in the locker room already.

Winnipeg Sun: ‘Heavy-shot’ Colin Miller eager for chance at playoff run with Jets. Lots of folks comment how the Jets power play has been lacking a big booming shot from the backend since Dustin Byfuglien hung them up and it would appear that Miller could add that element to the unit.

Winnipeg Free Press: Hellebuyck nets fourth shutout of season in 3-0 victory over Capitals. (Paywall). It was certainly not his most difficult goose egg but it is impressive that he’s already at 36 in his career.
