Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: Many felt that the Jets would have a big advantage with the Kraken having gotten to Winnipeg very late/early in the morning on Tuesday but the home team played catch-up on the scoreboard through the first 40 minutes and then after taking the lead, fell to a 3rd period comeback by the visitors. In the slightly modified words of Seinfeld “They stole our move”. The Jets will now head out to Washington State today where they will practice on Thursday as they prepare to face the Kraken in a re-match on Friday night.

Note II: The Moose were travelling on Tuesday as they kick off six straight on the road starting this evening in Milwaukee. These next six are critical if they want to be a playoff team as they are all against divisional opponents starting with the Admirals. While they are still a formidable team they went from being undefeated in 2024 (19-0-0) which ran almost all of January and February they have hit a bump in the road losing their last three contests. Puck drop is at 7 PM CST.

Note III: With the NHL Trade Deadline ending on Friday at 2 PM CST be sure to keep it locked here and our YouTube channel for any Jets related news.
