Note: The Jets looked like they were going to cruise to their sixth win in their last seven games through 20 minutes of play last night in Winnipeg as they kicked off a two-game set. But hockey games are 60 minutes (or more) so their 3-1 lead after 20 became 3-3 after 60 and needed Kyle Connor ending it just 33 seconds into extra time for the home team to get the two points. Jets are off today.

Note II: The Moose were off on Sunday after earning a split on Saturday against the Wranglers. Today they are scheduled to practice before heading out to the Backyard Rink contest winners to skate with some Manitobans.

Global News: It’s in Jets’ and NHL’s best interests to get attendance back. The headline is rather obvious but Kelly delves into the attendance situation in Winnipeg. 

Winnipeg Sun: After chasing power play, Jets now looking for 5-on-5 game. Hard to believe this team went from dominate at even strength but couldn’t score a power play goal if their lives depended on it to red-hot with the man advantage but the even strength play has fallen.
