Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Keeping you up-to-date with all the latest pro hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets concluded their short, two-game homestand last night with a game against the Sharks which saw them pick up a 1-0 victory. Today they are scheduled to travel to Vancouver where they will practice on Friday before they take on the Canucks on Saturday night.

Note II: The Moose concluded two games in Calgary with a comeback win as they tied it up in the 3rd courtesy of a solid individual effort from Dominic Toninato. OT solved nothing between the two clubs but in the shootout both Manitoba shooters (Nikita Chibrikov & Brad Lambert) scored nice goals while Collin Delia made both stops of the shots he faced which meant they ended the nine game road trip with a 6-2-1 record and the two points propelled them into a playoff spot. They will return to Winnipeg today as they prepare to play six straight in Manitoba starting with their divisional foe Milwaukee which gets underway on Saturday afternoon. That will also be Chaz Lucius mini bobblehead game. We will have tickets to giveaway so make sure you’re following me on twitter to be alerted.
