Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets’ Mark Scheifele would rather keep playing as Christmas break nears. With the way 55 and his line is playing right now you can understand why they don’t want to take their foot off the gas but at the same time it’s a long season and good to get some rest for the second half.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets top trio taking charge. (Paywall). Scheifele, Ehlers and Vilardi look like they’ve been together for years rather than just a few games this season as they have found a quick chemistry which has led to both individual and team success.

Sportsnet: 32 Thoughts. Number 23 spoke about concern for the Jets with the loss of Kyle Connor but that has been lessened based on what 55 , 27 and 13 are doing.

The Hockey News: Top five NHL breakout players to start the season. Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti cracks this list.

Jets prospect news:

Illegal Curve: Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic loaned to Team Canada for the Spengler Cup. The 2023 5th rounder is heading to Davos to gain some international experience with Team Canada as he adds another important development opportunity in his first year as a pro.
