Note: The Jets and Rangers did battle last night with both clubs entering the game riding streaks. Winnipeg was on a points streak while New York had an impressive win streak that saw them defeat Seattle and then all the western Canadian NHL clubs which after last night’s 3-2 OT victory included Winnipeg on that list. As a result no media today.
Note II: Yesterday the city of Winnipeg welcomed Blake Wheeler after the former captain spent 12 seasons in Manitoba with the Jets. Today they will hit the ice for a practice and we’ll have plenty coming your way so stay tuned for the Practice Report.
Note IV: It’s been a noteworthy few days for Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic (2023 5th rounder) who after picking up his first pro shuout on Sunday was named ECHL Goaltender of the Week on Monday.
