Note: The Jets were in Detroit last night where they took on a red-hot Red Wings. It was Winnipeg that opened the scoring when they went ‘bang bang’ as former play-by-play voice Dennis Beyak would say with goals 62 seconds apart from Nikolaj Ehlers (first of year) and Kyle Connor (turned out to be GWG, 44th of his career). Another 2015 draft classer of Winnipeg, Mason Appleton, continued his hot start and rounding out the scoring was Nino Niederreiter who potted his first of the season. Connor Hellebuyck was excellent in his home state appearance making 35 saves on 36 shots. Get the full recap here. The Jets are off today. They will next be in action tomorrow when they take on the Canadiens.

Note II: While it is still aways away please note the NHL moved up the Jets and Stars game on November 11th to 2 PM (instead of 3 PM) which will accommodate folks who want to watch the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Final which gets underway at 5:30 PM.

Note III: The Moose will face the Stars tonight in Cedar Park, Texas this evening as they play their first road game of the season.

Winnipeg Sun: Connor Hellebuyck stellar again as Jets win third straight. If this Jets team expects to make some real noise this season then 37 is going to have to be fully engaged and there doesn’t seem to be any questioning after his last few games.
