Note: The Jets hit the ice for a practice on Monday as they prepared for the second game at home on their three-game homestand. Appears they will stick with the ‘if it ain’t broke philosophy’ and use the same lineup tonight against the Kings as they iced in their win over the Panthers on Saturday including we know Connor Hellebuyck in net. However, we will be at Canada Life for morning skate which gets underway at 10:30 AM so check back for the pre-game report to ensure you’ve got the latest information. Puck drop is at 7 PM and we want you to join us after the final buzzer on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show.
Note II: The Moose were off on Monday after a Sunday win over the Wranglers earned Manitoba a series split with Calgary. They will now have a few days to prepare to face a Wild team who are 0-2 to being the season. Today the Moose will practice at hockey for all centre at 10:30 AM.

Probably best they aren’t calling them the Three Kings so as to avoid confusion with the 1999 movie starring George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Ice Cube. Bad joke aside the strength in numbers seems to be making folks in Winnipeg very happy with the very early returns from the summer blockbuster trade.
