Note II: The Jets are off today.

Note III: The Moose were off on Friday although the AHL club of Winnipeg did make some news signing Jets goalie prospect Thomas Milic to a one-year AHL deal.

Note IV: Reminder to join us today for two hours of Jets and Moose talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show as Jets training camp is winding down with the team gets closer and closer to their opening day roster and on the other hand the Moose are just ramping up their camp. Winnipeg Free Press: Injury stops Heinola in his tracks. (Paywall). Cannot imagine how deflating it must have been for the Dman when he heard the news given the camp he just put forth.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Jets prospect Ville Heinola expected to miss 2-3 months after fracturing left ankle. (Paywall). After detailing the injury, Murat goes into what this means for the player, the team and more.
