Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest hockey news in Manitoba.

Note: The Jets split their groups into two on Saturday which was made up of a primarily veteran group and one most likely heading to the AHL. Rick Bowness provided a health update and then the organization reduced the training camp roster from 50 to 40. We’ve got the full recap from the day that was here.

Note II: With group 2 reduced by ten players (from 17 to 7) and with some of those seven potentially going on waivers, it seems likely that they will meld the two groups. For now group 1 is skating at 11 AM and if there is a group 2 they are at 1 PM (Update: As expected there is only one skate at 11 AM). However, the expectation is that the team could be putting players on waivers today (Update II: They put five guys on waivers). We will have complete coverage today so be sure to stay tuned to this site and our YouTube channel.

Note III: The Moose will get loose today as they kick off their training camp with off ice physicals. Check out their schedule here.
