Note: On day 6 of Jets training camp the playing group skated in the morning while the non-playing group skated a bit later. The playing group played the first pre-season game in Winnipeg where they rolled over the Oilers by a final score of 5-0. We’ve got the full recap here.

Note II: The Jets are off today but the team is expected to make their first cuts of training camp.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets thrash inexperienced Oilers in pre-season action. Not too much to glean when you have a veteran club against one light on experience.
