Note: The Jets got their final RFA signed on Wednesday as the team announced that they had signed Declan Chisholm to a one-year deal.

Note II: With training camp set to get underway next week the quiet time across the NHL is about to come to an end. Rookies started skating yesterday afternoon before they head to BC today to play in the Young Stars Tournament (roster here). Winnipeg Sun: Jets prospect Chaz Lucius proving he can ‘get through anything’. Jets prospect Chaz Lucius was asked what his game looks like and if that includes putting up points. The 2021 1st rounder feels the points will come if he’s doing the right things. 

Winnipeg Sun: Rookie goalie Dom DiVincentiis comes in hot. Reigning OHL Goalie of the Year Domenic DiVincentiis was asked about the 55-save win he backstopped his North Bay club to in pre-season action and he told us ” …I was prepared for when my name got called and we got the win”.  Someone on twitter said he’s a Canadian Hellebuyck and that does seem apt.
