Note: It was another busy day at Development Camp in Winnipeg on Thursday as prospects got put through their paces with more on-ice testing which, for a group with all these scholastic achievers, was probably right up their alley. Following skate we heard from Nikita Chibrikov (watch here), Elias Salmonssen (watch here) and Thomas Milic (watch here).

Global News: Rutger McGroarty a hit with fans at Winnipeg Jets development camp. He began winning over this fan base shortly after he heard his named called last summer in Montreal and he has continued that during his first trip to Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets prospect goalie Thomas Milic isn’t someone to bet against. Drafted. Not drafted. Doesn’t matter. Jets goalie prospect & WHL goalie of the Year for the champion Thunderbirds Thomas Milic said it best today in response to a question about “not being denied his shot” and having the right mindset.

Winnipeg Free Press: Lambert matured as player in WHL. (Paywall). He could have pouted and tried to force his way back to Europe but instead he trusted the guidance of the organization.
