He is right in that fans will be happy to hear that he and the Jets number 1 pick in the 2011 Entry Draft, Mark Scheifele, have developed some chemistry.

Despite the fact that they drive this vehicle with their attendance, this is simply between the players and owners and whom will get a bigger share of the pie. A pie produced by the fans of course.
The Tennessean: Predators are optimistic NHL can avoid lockout. Can any small market team in a non-traditional market afford a lockout? Not in actual cost, but in the loss of fan support.
New York Post: Restart in NHL faceoff. We are under a month till the CBA expires and you get the feeling neither side is any closer to a deal than they were when they first started this process.
The Province: Winter Classic, $200m NBC deal at risk as CBA talks stall. Which is why most observers feel the NHL has a position of strength until such time as the above game is in jeopardy.
