Note: The Jets are in offseason mode but is there really ever an offseason? If there is any news we will have it for you here.

Note II: The Moose are also now in offseason mode. We concluded the season with an End of Season Roundtable. We’ve also complied all the links to the end of season media availabilities here.

Note III: At the Memorial Cup, Jets 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert and his Seattle Thunderbirds picked up a 6-3 win in their first game on Saturday when they defeated Peterborough. Today they take on Quebec. Puck drop is at 8 PM CDT.

Jets news:

Pro Hockey Rumors: Offseason Checklist: Winnipeg Jets. Pretty good assessment of the challenges that the Jets face including what is the plan in net as well as a question as to who will be backing up, making a Dubois decision, the logjam on D and the 2024 UFAs.

Winnipeg Sports Talk: Jets prospect report with Scott Wheeler – updates on 2022 NHL Draft Class. Lots of insight from the prospects expert on the players in the Jets system and some encouraging comments on the Jets 2022 2nd rounder.

WHL: Memorial Cup media availability with Brad Lambert. This was recorded prior to the start of the Memorial Cup on Friday but I thought Jets fans might find it insightful as 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert was chatting in Kamloops, BC about a number of topics as he and his WHL Champion Thunderbirds look to win the first ever Memorial Cup for Seattle.

Jets audio:

Illegal Curve Hockey Show: Saturday PodcastOn the show this past weekend we discussed if the Jets are trading one of the core 4 what do they need to get back? Specifically discussing Ken Wiebe’s article about whether Winnipeg and Carolina make sense as trade partners. What can the Jets learn from playoff teams that have gone deep? We were joined by Scott Billeck of the Winnipeg Sun and Dave McCarthy (Toronto correspondent) for NHLdotcom and SiriusXM.

Ice news:

Philadelphia Inquirer: Could Flyers choose skill over size with the diminutive Zach Benson? What he lacks in size he makes up for in heart and skill although my viewings of the Alberta product were limited.
