Note III: Jets 2022 1st rounder Brad Lambert (a WHL Champion) and his Seattle Thunderbirds are in Kamloops, BC for the Memorial Cup which got underway yesterday. He will first be in action this afternoon when his club will take on Peterborough.

This the same Panthers team that made the playoffs because Chicago beat Pittsburgh at the end of the regular season? The same Florida team that could easily have lost to Boston in game 5 if Marchand scores with seconds left? They are clearly on a magic run. The points in the article made by Mike concern: 1) Maurice was not THE problem. 2) A little local flavour doesn’t hurt. 3) Trading a star player or two doesn’t automatically mean taking a step back.
