Note: Still some Jets news filtering out despite the offseason being underway. Yesterday we learned that Axel Jonsson-Fjallby will become a Group 6 UFA on July 1st as he fell one game shy of the required games played for him to be retained as an RFA.
Note II: The Moose flew to Milwaukee on Tuesday where they practiced in the afternoon to prepare for tonight’s game 3 against the Admirals. The series is tied 1-1 so this will be a pivotal contest in their best of five series. Puck drop is at 7 PM CDT.
Note III: The Ice roll continues as they took a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Blades courtesy of their 5-1 win last night in Saskatoon. Dman Ben Zloty had three assists in the victory and he leads the WHL in playoff assists with 19. They go for the series sweep tomorrow night.
Note IV: Brad Lambert and his Seattle Thunderbirds suffer their first loss of the playoffs as Blazers take game 3 in Kamloops by a score of 4-1 (two empty net goals). Crazy they went 10-0 before suffering a loss. Series now 2-1 in their favour. Game 4 is Thursday.
Note V: Over in the OHL the Petes defeated Jets goalie prospect Domenic DiVincentiis and his North Bay Battalion with a 3-2 comeback win in game 3. Gives Peterborough a 2-1 series edge. Game 4 is tonight.
