Note: The Jets were scheduled to travel on Friday but the team held a media availability before they left Vegas. We learned that while they are hopeful that Nikolaj Ehlers can play today he still needs to be medically cleared. With it being a matinee no morning skate for the Jets although Rick Bowness is set to speak at 1:30 PM. All the relevant news will be posted in the pre-game report so check back for that. Puck drop is at 3 PM CDT.

Note II: This afternoon, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Vegas, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Playoff Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of game 3.

Note III: The Moose practiced on Friday morning as they continue to work their way towards game 1 of their series with the Admirals which doesn’t get underway until next Friday night in Winnipeg. Note IV: The Ice evened their series with the Warriors with a game 4 win in OT in Moose Jaw and they’ll look to build on that tonight in game 5 in Winnipeg. Puck drop is at 7:30 PM.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets feeling energized despite Game 2 loss in Vegas. Returning home to the energy of the crowd from a whiteout both within and outside should make for a very entertaining hockey game.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets beat the house in Vegas once, now look to win big in front of home crowd. Earning the split was significant for Winnipeg and there will be a great buzz from the fans inside Canada Life.

Winnipeg Free Press: Return to lineup of speedy Dane will be a game-time decision. (Paywall). Will have to wait until warm-up skate around 2:30 PM to know for certain.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ best need to be better. Playing one period isn’t good enough. I do wonder if this team was just gassed after playing a near perfect game one.

CBC: ‘It’s going to be really electric’: Winnipeggers prepare for Jets’ 1st playoff home game, whiteout party. Been awhile since they held one of these. Now will it still be as electric as the ones held in Toronto and Edmonton which didn’t have same limited audience? We shall have to wait and see.
