Winnipeg Free Press:  Payroll bound to rise by summer’s end.  Being a basement spending team does not mean you cannot make the playoffs.  It does bear noting that a number of teams (Sens, Preds, Yotes, Panthers & Blues) that spent approximately similar amounts to the Jets all made the post season.

Winnipeg Sun:  Time changes for JetsThose who have both Bombers and Jets tickets are not going to be happy that the games overlap.
