Note: Yesterday was a final locker room cleanout like we haven’t ever seen in Winnipeg before with just Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff speaking at 12 noon in his final media availability to conclude the 2021-22 season as the players had been going through the post-mortem all week long.
Note II: The Moose are scheduled to be back on the ice today as they start to get ready for their upcoming playoff series with the Admirals. Their roster got a boost on Monday when the Jets announced they had reassigned Morgan Barron and Dylan Samberg for the Calder Cup run. To that end I have something coming out later this morning that looks at the depth of this AHL club.
Note III: The Ice will hit the ice for a practice today as they continue to prepare for their first game of the second round which goes on Friday when they welcome the Moose Jaw to town.
