Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets were off on Sunday after they completed a successful road trip which saw them bring home three of four points and has them on a points streak of three straight against central division opponents. They are gonna have to ensure they keep that going when they welcome the Hawks to town tonight to kick off four straight in Winnipeg. Morning skate gets underway at 1o:30 AM CST so check back for our pre-game report to get the full 411 ahead of the game. Puck drop is at 8 PM and following the final buzzer we want you to join the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show.

Note II: The Moose returned home after a tough road trip where they went 1-3-0-0 in a tough slog that saw them win just once playing four games in five days. The team will take the next few days off here in Winnipeg before they return to the ice for a practice on Wednesday.

Winnipeg Free Press: Inconsistent Jets seem to have found footing. (Paywall). This team did exactly what they needed to do which is start to accumulate points so they can gain ground on the teams ahead of them in the standings.

The Hockey News: NHL Three Stars: Hischier, Laine and Hellebuyck at the top of their game. They’ve got the Jets top netminder in third spot.
