Note: It was a relatively quiet Monday for the Jets as they were off after a wacky weekend which seemed to close itself out on Monday with news that the NHL would be pausing things after today until Christmas. Winnipeg was scheduled to have a normal practice today and then one at 9 AM on Wednesday but will instead have just a 9 AM practice today. Stay tuned for the last Practice Report until next week.
Note II: The Moose are unofficially on holidays which weren’t scheduled to start until they returned from their road trip but with that being cut short they won’t be back until next week when they begin their next home series against Abbotsford.
Note III: Dynamic Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers was named NHL Third Star of the Week on Monday.
Note IV: Jets 2020 1st rounder and current Moose forward Cole Perfetti was named an alternate captain for Team Canada at the World Juniors.
Jets news:
The Athletic Winnipeg: Dave Lowry’s decisions: Which Jets players have the most at stake with a new coach? (Paywall). I am with Murat in that I too thought Jansen Harkins would look good on a third line along side Andrew Copp and Adam Lowry. Plenty more to read in his latest informative piece.
Winnipeg Free Press: Dream now a reality for Reichel. (Paywall). The undrafted forward has consistently worked to get better each year (now in his fourth season with the Manitoba Moose) and last night he was rewarded for all of it. I suspect his family back in Czech must have been feeling a lot of pride in seeing his hard work pay off.

Official Moose channel: Kristian Reichel reflects on playing in his first NHL game with the Winnipeg Jets. The undrafted forward realized a dream on Sunday playing his first NHL game and he discussed it with Austin Siragusa of MooseTV.
