Note: The Jets have put together a modest two-game win streak after defeating the Predators last night by a final score of 6-4. It was a big game for 2017 1st rounder Kristian Vesalainen who scored his first goal in the NHL. A number of other players, and specifically the line of Kyle Connor, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Evgeny Svechnikov, made a lot of noise to help contribute to the victory. The Jets are off today and will practice tomorrow in Winnipeg before they head back to California for three games on the road.
Note II: The Moose had a solid win on Friday in their home opener and will look to keep things rolling when they have their re-match with the Griffins this afternoon at 2 PM. I will be down covering the game so chat with me on my twitter account here during the action.
