Note: Despite being shorthanded the Jets took game 1 of their series with the Oilers last night with a 4-1 win in Edmonton. Today they are scheduled to practice at 1 PM CT so stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Winnipeg Sun: Unlikely heroes stepped up for Jets in Game 1 win over Oilers. That seems to be the way of playoff hockey when you can find a guy or two to step up when needed.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets defy the odds, stun Oilers in Game 1 of playoff series. Connor Hellebuyck had to be the best player for Winnipeg and the team needed to be committed to playing a tighter style of game, both of which took place on Wednesday night.
