Note: The Jets were hoping to build off a win against the Flames but the Senators are one of the hottest teams for a reason which Winnipeg learned last night after Ottawa weathered an early storm and then capitalized on mistakes to take the game by a final score of 4-2.  The Jets are scheduled to practice today ahead of a pair of back-to-back games against the Canucks on Monday and Tuesday.  Stay tuned for the Practice Report to get fully updated following skate.

Note II:  The Moose were also in action on Saturday as they added another win to their points streak which hit ten games (9-0-0-1) after their 5-4 shootout win over the Marlies. Prospects Cole Perfetti (2nd round of shots) and David Gustafsson (SO winner) scored goals in the shootout while Perfetti also had a beauty in regulation. Jets 2017 3rd rounder Johnny Kovacevic was injured on this play late in the game and there wasn’t an update on him after the game from head coach Pascal Vincent. Today the Moose will conclude their season series against the Marlies in this third game of the seven-game road trip. Puck drop is at 2 PM.
