The Jets outplayed the Senators for much of the second period but didn’t have much to show for and it was Nikita Zaitsev’s difference maker in the third that handed Winnipeg their seventh straight loss. Illegal Curve: Jets 2020 1st rounder Cole Perfetti named AHL Rookie of the Month for April. Pretty crazy to think about the fact that in a normal year he wouldn’t even of had this opportunity but he has taken advantage of it and then some as he continues to grow as a hockey player.
