Note:  The Jets concluded their four-game homestanding going 3-1-0 after last night’s 5-2 win against the Canucks.  Today they were scheduled to practice but will instead use it as a travel day as they head to Montreal to start a five-game road trip.

Note II:  The Moose practiced yesterday afternoon as they look to get back on track and arrest their three-game losing streak with tonight’s re-match against the Marlies in Toronto.  Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.

TSN: Jets get rewarded for going to the net early and often against Canucks. Mason Appleton crashed the net early for the Jets and was rewarded with his sixth goal of the season, and that was a trend for the Jets in this one. As Ray Ferraro explains, the Jets were able to work their way to the front of the net early and were rewarded for it against a top-heavy Canucks team that had no answers.
